Kelly Rowland found comfort at “Sherri.”
On Tuesday, Sherri Shepherd shared a clip of her successful interview with the former Destiny’s Child member, but fans couldn’t help but comment on the fact that the talk show host must have given her a “better” dressing room to get her to stay following her abrupt departure from the “Today” show last week.
“I guess her dressing room was acceptable,” commented one Instagram follower, prompting the “30 Rock” alum to respond from her personal account, writing, “oh we gave her a gorgeous room!❤. It is Kelendria Rowland🔥🔥🔥.”
The pointed comment came after Page Six broke the news that the former Destiny’s Child singer walked off the “Today” show after receiving sub par accommodations. The Sherri Show/YoutubeWant more celebrity and pop culture news?

The “For You” songstress, 33, later confirmed the last-minute switch-up, sharing on Instagram that she had “two minutes to prepare.”
“Thank you @hodaandjenna for asking me to co-host the show…” she wrote, adding that everyone at “Today” was “so lovely and kind.”
