Earlier today, Dijak revealed that he was leaving WWE when his contract expired this week and now Fightful Select has more on his departure. According to the report, Dijak was well liked in NXT and Shawn Michaels was a big supporter. Dijak is said to have known that something was wrong when he was called up to the roster and not used in the first few weeks. While Dijak did appear on Main Event and Speed, it is believed that there were never any plans for him to appear on Monday Night Raw despite him being drafted in April. Some in WWE are said to be stunned by WWE not wanting to re-sign Dijak to a new deal.
Dijak had a heck of a run in NXT. Check out his time on the roster:
Opinion: I’m with the group of people at WWE who are surprised at Dijak not being around. He has the look, the size and the skill to be a star and it seemed like he was going to be one on the main roster. I’m not sure why that did not happen, but I’m more confused about why he was promoted in the first place if WWE had no other plans for him. Maybe I’m missing something, but it’s not making a ton of sense from here.
