Shota Umino will be back in action for the NJPW G1 Climax 34 tournament.
In June, Umino announced that he suffered a hip fracture and a strained disk. He has not wrestled since he faced Rocky Romero at the AEW Rampage taping on June 12th.
NJPW posted a video in which Shota Umino announced that he would return in time for the G1 Climax 34 tournament. Umino stated that he put all that he had into rehabbing and treatment so that he could return for the competition. He said that he would be back at 100%, and he vowed to emerge victorious.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
