Showtime’s ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Casts Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa & Emilia Suárez

Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (The Lincoln Lawyer), Kadia Saraf (Law & Order: SVU ), Dominic Fumusa (Nurse Jackie) and Emilia Suárez (Up Here) will join the cast of the Showtime’s original drama series Dexter: Ressurection, as series regulars, starring Michael C. Hall in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.

Mwine will play the role o“Blessing Kamara,” a rideshare driver who radiates unwavering optimism and a man devoted to his family and community. Saraf will play Detective “Claudette Wallace,” a razor-sharp investigator known for her methodical precision and unrelenting focus. Fumusa will play Detective “Melvin Oliva,” Claudette Wallace’s partner at NYPD who is the only one that understands his quirky partner. Suárez will play “Elsa Rivera,” Harrison Morgan’s vibrant and determined friend and co-worker at the Empire Hotel.

Production on Dexter: Ressurection kicked off in January in New York and the series is set to launch in the summer on Paramount+ with Showtime.

Previously announced cast included: David Zayas as Detective Angel Batista, James Remar as Dexter’s father Harry Morgan, Jack Alcott as Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan, Uma Thurman as Charley, and Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater.

Most recently, DEXTER®: ORIGINAL SIN, a prequel series that follows Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) as he transitions from student to serial killer, debuted in December of last year and delivered the most streamed SHOWTIME® premiere in history with more than 2.1M global cross-platform viewers. The series is now streaming on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.

DEXTER: RESURRECTION is executive produced by Emmy nominee Clyde Phillips (DEXTER, DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN, NURSE JACKIE), who also returns to serve as showrunner, and produced by SHOWTIME Studios and Counterpart Studios. Michael C. Hall (DEXTER, Six Feet Under) also serves as executive producer along with Scott Reynolds (Jessica Jones), Tony Hernandez (Emily in Paris) and Lilly Burns (Russian Doll), with Marcos Siega (DEXTER®: NEW BLOOD) serving as producing director. Monica Raymund (DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN) is set to direct four episodes with Marcos Siega directing six episodes for the series. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
