Last week, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani shared the exciting news of their pregnancy, delighting fans and B-town celebs alike. In a recent interview, Sidharth opened up about his parenting plan for raising children with his wife, Kiara.
While speaking to Lilly Singh on her podcast, Sidharth said, “The best way in my book is to definitely get your boys in check growing up, and that would be my intent in life – be that girl or boy. I think values and ethics and being a kinder human being and a sensitive person are crucial. Being a male is by birth, but being a man is by choice. Being a man is that you start taking responsibility for your own actions. You start being more accountable and sensitive.”
The actor also shared how marriage with Kiara Advani has changed him as a person. “Marriage for me in the recent years has opened up my eyes after all these years of being by myself in Mumbai. To have her has been a great influence on my outlook towards life, work, and family; she’s very family-oriented. Her ethics and morals are in the right place. That’s something I respect and admire”, said the actor.
About Sidharth and Kiara
Sidharth and Kiara met on the sets of their 2021 period military drama Shershaah, which released directly on Prime Video India. They began dating and tied the knot in Rajasthan in 2023. On February 28 this year, the couple shared a joint Instagram post in which they held a pair of white knitted baby shoes. The caption stated, “The greatest joy of our lives (cupid emoji) Coming soon (red heart, evil eye, and folded hands emojis).”
Sidharth and Kiara’s upcoming movies
In November 2024, Sidharth Malhotra announced his new film VVAN – Force of the Forrest, which is touted to be a folk thriller. He will also be seen with Janhvi Kapoor in Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming film Param Sundari. The film will be a cross-cultural love story set in the scenic backwaters of Kerala. According to reports, Kiara might opt out of Don 3 with Ranveer Singh due to her pregnancy and maternity break. This year, she will be seen sharing the screen space with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in Ayan Mukerji’s War 2.
