The incident has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice.
The influencers have accused several individuals, purportedly backed by the All Progressives Congress (APC), of being responsible for the crime.

The release of these names and photos follows a viral video posted by Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor, a political observer and social media influencer known as Ultimate Equal, who accused the APC in Edo State of orchestrating the murder.
In his video, Ultimate Equal called on Governor Godwin Obaseki to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
“I want to appeal to Godwin Obaseki, as the number one citizen of Edo State, that this crime is a crime against humanity. You must wake up and ensure that the trigger-lover who shot the police officer is found. We are not going to rest on this matter,” Eholor said.
The killing has further heightened tensions in the state, with calls for a thorough investigation and accountability for those involved.
The public release of the names and photos of the alleged perpetrators has intensified the demand for swift justice by residents.
