EXCLUSIVE: Sony Pictures has picked up the rights for best-selling author Eliza Jane Brazier’s recently published novel, It Had To Be You. The book was published by Berkley this past July. Brazier will adapt will adapt the script and executive produce the project, which is in early development at the studio.
Cameron Fuller will produce for Platinum Dunes. The book follows Two contract killers, each with a hit out on the other, who must fight their growing attraction as they face off in an epic game of lust and murder across Western Europe.
Platinum Dunes recently wrapped post-production on the Blumhouse thriller Drop starring Meghann Fahey, which is set to bow next April.
Brazier’s other past novel’s include Good Rich People and Girls With Their Horses.
