She’s keeping busy. According to a report from the Tampa Bay Times, Sonya Deville will be starring in an upcoming movie that is filming in the area this week.

She will be playing a police officer in the upcoming movie “DNA Secrets,” which follows an antique store owner who “opens a Pandora’s box” by gifting DNA kits to relatives.

From the article:

After several family members are killed, the store owner “realizes that she could be next on the killer’s list,” Yates said. She “edges closer to the truth only to discover that she herself is at the heart of a mystery that has put her entire family in danger.”

Deville has been out of wrestling since August 7, 2023, when she confirmed that she tore her ACL. She was one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions along with Chelsea Green at that time.

Editor’s Opinion:

I am very happy to see her on her feet and doing great things! She was always one of my favorite superstars and WWE, and I thought that she could both wrestle and cut promos at a very high level. I hope that we see her back in the ring very soon, and she can continue to be the dominant superstar that she is!
