Sridhar Babu vows to punish those involved in phone tapping

Minister for IT and Industries D Sridhar Babu said the investigation into the phone tapping case is ongoing and those involved will be caught and punished soon. The Minister mentioned that the previous government had committed many wrongs by tapping phone calls and expressed confidence that everything will come out in the investigation.

He criticized BRS working president KT Rama Rao for making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy regarding agriculture loan waiver. The Minister stated that the BRS leader had no right to speak on behalf of farmers as the previous government had deceived them.

The Minister alleged that farmers were suffering because the previous government did not waive crop loans. However, he reassured that the Congress government would fulfill the promise of Rs.2 lakh agriculture loan waiver and support farmers in every possible way.

Refuting KTR’s claim about no scarcity of drinking water during the previous BRS regime under the Mission Bhagiratha scheme, the Minister criticized the scheme as wrongful. He accused the BRS government of wasting funds in the name of water supply.

Sridhar Babu emphasized that every rupee received by the State government is utilized for the welfare of the people. He stated that the Congress government is dedicated to developing the State in various aspects. The Minister also predicted that the Congress party would secure at least 14 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with the BRS party not being competitive.
