The STARDOM 5 Star Grand Prix now enters its second to the last week of shows, ultimately narrowing down the field to the top competitors. STARDOM hosted Day 7 of the show from the Edion Arena in Osaka this past August 20.
The show featured six Blue Stars A and B block matches. The “Phenex Queen” Saya Kamitani entered the night with peak momentum following her undefeated streak in the 5 Star so far.

Blue Stars A Block: Anna Jay [4] def. Miyu Amasaki [2] Blue Stars B Block: Risa Sera [6] def. Ranna Yagami [2] Blue Stars B Block: Koguma [4] def. Syuri [4] Blue Stars B Block: Saki Kashima [4] def. Saya Kamitani [6] Blue Stars B Block: Suzu Suzuki [5] def. Thekla [2] Blue Stars A Block: Saori Anou [7] def. Xena [4]With the show results, Saori Anou now leads the Blue Stars A block with 7 points. Starlight Kid falls behind at second by just two points.
As for Blue Stars B, Saya Kamitani and Risa Sera are tied for the lead at 6 points each. Saya could have taken the solo lead if not for Saki Kashima’s flash pinfall victory over her at the show. The Blue Stars B battle furthermore remains close as Hanan and Suzu Suzuki are also tied for second at just 5 points each.
The STARDOM 5 Star Grand Prix’s next show is on Friday, August 23 at the Sendai PIT in Miyagi. WrestleZone will continue coverage for the 5 Star tournament throughout its remaining dates this August.
