Steve “Mongo” McMichael was back in the hospital, but the trip was a short one.
Per Jarrett Payton, Steve “Mongo” McMichael was hospitalized on April 3. Payton later provided an update and said that McMichael had a urinary tract infection (UTI), and he would be returning home that night.

— Jarrett Payton (@paytonsun) April 3, 2024McMichael was hospitalized in February, and he dealt with MRSA as he had a staph infection. The former Four Horsemen member was diagnosed with ALS in 2021, and he continues to fight against it.
As announced in February, McMichael is set to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was a member of the 1985-1986 Chicago Bears team that won the Super Bowl.
