Surprise? Two Major WWE Names In France Before Backlash, Currently Unannounced For Show

Special guest stars? WWE has been making an effort to expand its international offerings in recent months, including this coming weekend’s Backlash in France. This will be company’s first premium live event to take place in the country and that means they are going to want to make the show as big as possible. There is a possibility that some top stars might be making surprise appearances.

Two missing WWE Superstars are currently in France, two days before Backlash will be held. A fan has posted a photo taken with John Cena in Nice, France, suggesting that he is at least around for the show if possible. Secondly, Charlotte has posted an image to Twitter, showing her in a hotel room, with the location listed as Paris, France. Charlotte is currently out of action with a knee injury. Neither is confirmed for the show and there is no guarantee that the two will appear.

Opinion: I’m not sure if the two of them are going to appear but having either/both of them as a possibility is rather interesting. Cena showed up unannounced at last year’s Money In The Bank in England so it is far from out of the question. Charlotte appearing might be less likely due to her injury, but even having her show up in a cameo would be a nice bonus.
