Roman Reigns lost to Cody Rhodes in an amazing main event match at WrestleMania. With the title off his shoulders, millions around the world wondered if the Bloodline story ended there and a new era would usher for stars like Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso on Friday Night Smackdown.
However, Triple H had different plans. On the WWE Smackdown episode after WrestleMania, to enrich content in the Bloodline story, a new surprise was presented as Tama Tonga debuted and attacked Jimmy Uso to team up with Solo Sikoa. While this turned out to be one of the most shocking debuts in the history of the company, the star had no clue until the day of the show.
On a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Karl Anderson revealed that Tama Tonga was going to be in the city for Smackdown, but wasn’t aware that he was going to make his debut on that day.
“Just knowing that he was coming last Friday, he had texted me and told me he was going to show up in the city. He had no clue he was going to debut that night either, which is kind of WWE style. They’ll bring you in and then you gotta debut. They told him he was debuting and it was pretty fun to watch my friend and brother go through the fact that he knows he’s about to go on live national television for the first time ever, really. I’m proud of him.”
This week’s Friday Night Smackdown will answer a lot of questions as Jimmy Uso might come face to face with Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga following the attack they unleashed. It would be interesting to see how things play out for the Bloodline. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story.
