Teddi Mellencamp’s estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, revealed in his divorce response that they have a prenuptial agreement in place.
According to Arroyave’s filing — obtained by Page Six on Friday — he and the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum signed a contract before their July 2011 wedding that allegedly states “all assets, income from all sources and obligations of each party are his/her separate property.”
Meanwhile, in Mellencamp’s petition — which she filed Nov. 1 — she claimed that “the true nature and extent of [her] separate property assets and debts are unknown at this time” and asked the court “to amend this petition when same has been ascertained.”
According to Arroyave, 47, the pair’s prenup “sets forth the terms regarding the amount and duration of spousal support to be paid,” whereas Mellencamp, 43, asked for spousal support but checked the box to block the court’s ability to award him the same.

Mellencamp — the daughter of famed musician John Mellencamp — noted that “making a public statement” was “not something [she] wanted to do,” but she felt “being open, honest and vulnerable” would help “protect [her] family from undue speculation and rumors.”
Hours after she shared the news, she was photographed wearing her wedding ring while out and about in Los Angeles.
Arroyave, for his part, has alluded to the split via his Instagram Story with a cryptic message about “dark days,” a selfie showing him and his brood heading to church and various Bible verses related to praying over one’s children.

An insider told Us Weekly earlier this week that the twosome had “been up and down for the last seven-plus years” before she finally decided to pull the plug on their relationship.
“This isn’t the first time Teddi has wanted a divorce, and it has been an ongoing conversation between them for years,” the source said.
They reportedly tried to work out their issues in therapy after experiencing “some really high highs and low lows over the course of their marriage,” but they ultimately “agreed they are better as co-parents and can be amicable moving forward.”
