The 10 Best Shows To Stream in November 2024

A stretch of fall still exists ahead of Christmas, and there are plenty of new shows arriving on streamers this month so either binge or follow along into the remaining holidays of the year.

Those in the mood for mystery can dive into Bad Sisters on Apple TV+ starting Nov. 13, or they can follow A Man on the Inside, another comedy mystery arriving on Netflix Nov. 21.

For the science fiction lovers, Silo returns to Apple TV+ this month with a second season as well, and Max will debut its Dune: Prophecy prequel Nov. 17. For the best shows to stream in November 2024, read on.

Bad Sisters Season 2 – Nov. 13 – Apple TV+

Sharon Horgan’s dark comedy murder mystery series returns with a second season to Apple TV+ Wednesday, Nov. 13. Horgan also stars in the show as the oldest Garvey sister Eva, surrogate mother to her four younger siblings — Grace (Anee-Marie Duff), Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene) and Becka (Eve Hewson). Somethings just have a way of resurfacing, especially after the complex murder that took place in Season1. Newcomers to the show this season include Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnall, Thaddea Graham and more.

Silo Season 2 – Nov. 15 – Apple TV+

Silo Season 2 returns to Apple TV+ Friday, November 15. The sci-fi series from creator and showrunner Graham Yost, based on the books by Hugh Howey, has added Steve Zahn as a new castmember in the next installment of the series. Rebecca Ferguson stars as engineer Juliette, who uncovers a fateful mystery shrouded in a society of ten thousand people who live miles below Earth’s surface to shelter from the toxic environment.

Emily Watson in ‘Dune: Prophecy’

Dune: Prophecy – Nov. 17 – Max

Dune: Prophecy is a prequel series that focuses its six episodes on the Bene Gesserit and two Harkonnen sisters — Valya (Emily Watson) and Tula (Olivia Williams). The show takes place ten thousand years before the events that inspired Denis Villeneuve’s films, but it can serve as a holdover as the third film is still in early process. Look out, also, for two Bridgerton stars Charithra Chandran and Yerin Ha as they go from period romance to science fiction.

Interior Chinatown – Nov. 19 – Hulu

Based on the National Book Award-winner for fiction in 2020 by Charles Yu, Interior Chinatown follows Willis Wu (Jimmy O. Yang), a background actor in a police procedural show called Black & White. While going through the motions for his on-screen job, Wu unintentionally becomes witness to a crime, which brings him to investigate a criminal web in Chinatown and how it relates to his family’s history, which ultimately thrusts him into the spotlight. Ronny Chieng, Chloe Bennet, Lisa Gilroy, Sullivan Jones, Archie Kao and Diana Lin also star.

A Man on the Inside

A Man on the Inside – Nov. 21 – Netflix

The Good Place collaborators Ted Danson and Mike Schur reteamed on A Man on the Inside, coming to Netflix Nov. 21. The series is a television adaptation of  Maite Alberdi’s documentary The Mole Agent. Danson plays retired professor Charles, who becomes an undercover agent at the Pacific View Retirement Home in San Francisco to solve the mystery of a stolen family heirloom. Stephanie Beatriz, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sally Struthers, Eugene Cordero, Margaret Avery, John Getz, Susan Ruttan, Lori Tan Chinn, Clyde Kusatsu, Marc Evan Jackson, Jama Williamson, Wyatt Yang, Deuce Basco, Lincoln Lambert and Kerry O’Malley also star.

Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 – Nov. 21 – Max

Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble’s college comedy The Sex Lives of College Girls returns for its third season (but sophomore year) with Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur and Alyah Chanelle Scott reprising their roles as three of the four core roommates at Essex College. Reneé Rapp will appear in a few episodes before departing the show. Several new faces have been cast, and many familiar ones such as Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino and Renika Williams will also return.

Cruel Intentions – Nov. 21 – Prime Video

Twenty-five years after the 1999 film starring Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Philippe among others, Prime Video has resurrected and rebooted Cruel Intentions for a television treatment. Sarah Catherine Hook, Zac Burgess, Savannah Lee Smith and more star in the new version of the cult classic, which arrives on Prime Video Nov. 21.
