The French eleven lined up for the Olympic final against Spain will not be entirely the same as expected.

It’s the big day for the French U21 team. In the final of the Olympics, they face Spain this Friday (from 6:30 p.m.). For this big clash, Thierry Henry, the coach, has brought out the big guns.

The Bleuets will be coming to this match with a very competitive team. There are almost no surprises. Henry has not changed anything in the team that has had a flawless run so far, except for starting Millot in place of Akliouche. Back from suspension, the Stuttgart player is back in place in favor of the Monegasque. The latter had not been so bad against Egypt.

Henry makes changes

Compared to the team that dominated the Pharaohs, there is also the starting line-up of Manu Koné. The Moenchengladbach player is chosen over Lens player Andy Diouf. The midfield is completed by Chotard and Olise, as playmaker.

At the forefront, Jean-Philippe Mateta, author of 3 goals in the competition, is once again aligned alongside captain Alexandre Lacazette. The duo will have the mission of breaking through the Spanish barrier.

Behind, nothing changes. The quartet that gave so much satisfaction is renewed. It is composed of Truffert, Lukeba, Badé and Sildillia. Finally, in goal, it is of course Guillaume Restes who is aligned.
