After only a few seconds of play, individuals disrupted the 2024 Champions League final by entering the pitch and remaining there…

Streakers, that is to say intruders who enter a lawn during a sporting event, are as old as time. Despite the precautions taken by broadcasters to no longer film these scenes, which are sometimes naked, individuals continue to try to offer themselves a moment of fame. On Saturday, in the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, four men entered the Wembley field after just a few seconds of play.

None of them were in the mood to take off their clothes, but it took almost two minutes to call out and stop the nuisances. The security agents in the London enclosure were overwhelmed and one of the said streakers was even able to take the time to… take selfies with several participants in the meeting. The players and the two coaches, Carlo Ancelotti and Edin Terzic, did not hide their annoyance at this wild interruption of which we learned afterwards the motivation: a Russian streamer named “Mellstroy” had promised 300,000 euros to anyone who invaded the pitch…
