Lucy Halliday has been tapped as a lead opposite Chase Infiniti and The Handmaid’s Tale‘s Ann Dowd in The Handmaid’s Tale sequel The Testaments for Hulu.

Like The Handmaid’s Tale, The Testaments is based on a novel by Margaret Atwood. And just like the mothership series, the sequel is created by Bruce Miller who serves as showrunner. He executive produces alongside fellow Handmaid’s Tale executive producer Warren Littlefiend of The Littlefield Company, with MGM Television as the studio.

Halliday will star as Daisy, one of the three protagonists along with Agnes and Aunt Lydia. She is a young Canadian teen, whose life is turned upside down when she learns of her connection to the Republic of Gilead. She is repped by Curtis Brown Group and Myman Greenspan Fox.
