The list of Oscar nominees has been announced, and “The Iron Claw” was not included.
Director Sean Durkin’s film about the tragic tale of the Von Erich family proved to be a hit in the wrestling world and beyond, as Zac Efron received praise for his performance as Kevin Von Erich. However, the film did not receive any Oscar nominations. It has been nominated for other awards and received accolades, including the National Board of Review’s award for Best Ensemble.
