EXCLUSIVE: Netflix‘s The Lincoln Lawyer has added Marcus Henderson (Get Out), Gigi Zumbado (Heart Eyes) and KTLA Reporter Kasey Montoya to its Season 4 cast.
The storyline was teed up at the end of the Season 3 finale of the hit legal drama when Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) was pulled over and arrested when the body of a client was found in the trunk of his Lincoln. Next season will see Mickey defending himself as he goes on trial for murder. He will face off with the prosecutor on the case, Dana Berg (Constance Zimmer) who has ties to his first ex-wife Maggie (Neve Campbell).
Henderson will play ‘Yannick Bamba,’ a former gang member and the man in the cell next to Mickey’s. From West Africa by way of South Central, he’s been hired to be Mickey’s protection while he’s in jail. He gives Mickey pointers like survival tips on getting through the day and the night in lockup.
Zumbado will play ‘Grace,’ Izzy’s (Jazzmine Raycole) fun, quirky classmate in her paralegal course. They form a close relationship, leading to Grace becoming a part of the Haller and Associates team and helping in Mickey’s defense.
Montoya will be playing herself.
In addition to all mentioned above, Henderson, Zumbado and Montoya join the returning cast including Becki Newton and Angus Sampson. Season 4 will also star Constance Zimmer as Dana Berg, a character from the sixth book in The Lincoln Lawyer book series by Michael Connelly, The Law of Innocence, on which the season is based.

Henderson was a series regular on TruTV’s Tacoma FD for 4 seasons. He also starred in 3 seasons of Snowfall for FX. In features, he has starred in films such as Get Out, Django Unchained, Whiplash, Juanita, and Pete’s Dragon. Henderson is repped by Greene Talent and Stagecoach Entertainment.
Zumbado can currently be seen in theaters in the rom-com slasher Heart Eyes for Sony and Spyglass opposite Mason Gooding and Olivia Holt and up next in Rebel Wilson’s action-comedy Bride Hard opposite D’Vine Joy Randolph, Anna Camp and Anna Chlumsky. On TV, Zumbado recently wrapped the CBS comedy pilot DMV opposite Tim Meadows, an upcoming episode of ABC’s Will Trent and an episode of Ryan Murphy’s ABC series Dr. Odyssey. She is represented by Innovative Artists, Industry Entertainment and Del Shaw Moonves.
