The Mole season two is coming to Netflix, with a brand new host! The reality competition show is an unpredictable, high-stakes competition series hosted by journalist Ari Shapiro. In this version, twelve players work together in challenges to add money to a pot that only one of them will win at the end. Among the players is one person who has secretly been designated “the Mole” and tasked with sabotaging the group’s money-making efforts. In the end, one player will outlast their competition and expose the Mole to win the prize pot. Keep reading to find out more… Netflix is teasing that this season will be a three week event with new episodes dropping on June 28. Each week, new episodes will debut until July 12. 2022′s season of The Mole was hosted by journalist Alex Wagner. When asked by EW how he landed the gig, Ari shared, “So this is a testament to the power of manifestation. Last year, I came out with a memoir called The Best Strangers in the World. And after it did well, I got together with my team and we had a conversation about, ‘What next?’ And I said, ‘It doesn’t even have to be something that feels like NPR. For example, I would love to host a show like The Mole.’ And one of the people on the call said, ‘Funny, they are actually looking for a new host.’ And one thing led to another and somehow that dream seems to have come true.”
