There have been all kinds of major wrestling stories this year, with the biggest of them all being a lawsuit alleging Vince McMahon’s involvement in sex trafficking and the sexual assault of a former WWE employee. McMahon was not the only WWE personality named or referenced in the lawsuit and now we have an update on when one of the bigger names will be allowed to return.

While not named in the lawsuit, Brock Lesnar was identified as an unnamed wrestler involved in the situation. This has led to Lesnar being removed from WWE creative plans for the time being. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar has yet to be cleared by the WWE legal department and will not be able to return to WWE TV until this takes place. It is not clear how or when Lesnar will be cleared.

Opinion: The longer this lasted, the harder it is to imagine that Lesnar will ever return to WWE. Lesnar is 46 years old and while he can get by on reputation alone, it could be a very long time before this lawsuit manages to move forward. That could leave Lesnar on the sidelines for a long time, assuming WWE would even bring him back if they were legally able to do so.
