On the Jan. 4 episode of AEW Collision, Deonna Purrazzo went one-on-one with Toni Storm. Storm, who has just “joined” AEW and is excited to be getting these “new” opportunities, defeated Purrazzo with an inside cradle.
In a promo backstage after her loss, Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie exploded on the women’s roster. First targeting Storm, they moved on to the AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May.
May recently defended the gold against Thunder Rosa in a Tijuana Street Fight. Valkyrie reminded May that she’s had street fights in actual Tijuana. They then went on to remind the TBS Champion Mercedes Moné about just how worldly they are.
The Vendetta may not be picking up the wins, but they are still hungry to take over the division.
