They Did It: WWE Achieves Major Milestone, First Sports Product To Do So

That’s a lot. WWE has all kinds of television content on any given week but that is not the only way to see what WWE has to offer. At the same time, the company has quite the strong presence online and in social media. That was on display this week, as the company reached a very impressive milestone that has taken years to accomplish and puts it in very elite company.

This week, WWE announced that it has officially reached 100 million subscribers on YouTube. Triple H was seen receiving the red diamond plaque from YouTube during this week’s edition of SmackDown. The official announcement praised the Rock for pushing WWE over the top. This makes WWE only the tenth channel to reach the milestone. It is the only sports related channel to achieve the status.
