IMG Credit: WWEThat’s an honor. WWE wrestlers are in a weird place when it comes to celebrity status. While they are known by the public, it is almost universally for just one thing. That is the kind of status that can be turned into something else if handled properly, which is where WWE has a tendency to shine. One of the bigger stars in the company got to do something rather special this week.

Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman threw out the first pitch at a Milwaukee Brewers game this week. This is a bit of odd timing as WWE is not scheduled to run an event in Milwaukee until November. Strowman wore a sleeveless Brewers jersey on the mound and posed for photos with members of the team. Next week, Strowman is scheduled to compete in the finals of a tournament to crown a new #1 contender to the Intercontinental Title.

He does other things rather well. Check out Strowman’s recent time in WWE:
Opinion: This is one of those things that doesn’t seem like much but it must be quite the moment for Strowman, or any wrestler who gets to do it. Wrestlers are often not seen as athletes so getting to tie them into a more mainstream sport is great to see. If nothing else, how often do you see a baseball player anywhere close to the size of a monster like Strowman?
