The vehicle in question belonged to William Nicholas Abraham, a Baton Rouge, La.-based therapist whose body was found wrapped in a tarp on the side of a highway on Sunday.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office in Hammond, La., said the coroner’s office determined Abraham, 69, died as a result of blunt force trauma. His death was ruled a homicide.

On Monday afternoon, Tangipahoa Parish authorities released surveillance camera screenshots of an individual they said was the last person seen driving Abraham’s vehicle in Baton Rouge.

That same person sped away from cops during a traffic stop and fled on foot after crashing the car.

Per 4WWL, East Baton Rouge Parish court records show that Abraham was arrested in 2015 after being accused of inappropriately touching an 11-year-old boy during a therapy session.

However, he was never charged.

Tangipahoa Sheriff Gerald Sticker said he is aware of Abraham’s previous arrest but is working on finding out where he was killed.

“Right now, we have no inclination as to where this originated,” Sticker said.

“We are exercising all of our avenues. Whether it’s cell phone data or license plate recognition.”
