Tina Knowles is looking back at daughter Beyoncé‘s childhood. Tina, 70, recently opened up about some childhood memories of daughters Beyoncé, 42, and Solange Knowles as kids with longtime family friend Kelly Rowland, revealing that Beyoncé was often “bullied” as a child. Keep reading to find out more…“Beyoncé, she was very shy and she got bullied a bit but the day that she stood up for someone — she didn’t stand up for herself she stood up for them,” Tina recalled to Vogue. “I’m getting emotional talking about it. I was just, I couldn’t have been more proud of her.” Tina - who shares her two daughters with ex-husband Matthew Knowles – went on to share her favorite childhood memory of Solange, 37. “Solange, was her signing a petition in school, she was only in like fifth grade and she was out getting petitions signed,” Tina said. “So she’s always been an activist.” Tina also recently defended Kelly, 43, following that red carpet incident with a security guard at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
