The first TNA Xplosion episode since TNA Slammiverary took place on July 26th, 2024.
The show opened up with a match “From The Vault”. They showed the clash between “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Jack Evans from TNA Emergence 2022. This match was for the TNA X-Division Championship, which Mike Baily won earlier that year.
“Speedball” won the match with a “Weapon X” to the back of Evans. He retained his title on the opening match shown on this week’s TNA Xplosion.
This was followed by Around The Ring with Gia Miller. She was joined by Alisha Edwards, with the pair declaring themselves as “yappers”. They talked about Edwards’ career in wrestling so far and how she keeps her self belief throughout.
“In Case You Missed It”.
This was followed by “In Case You Missed It” segment, as TNA Xplosion replayed the six-man tag team match from last week’s TNA Impact. The match saw ABC team with Matt Hardy to take on The System and JDC, with Joe Hendry at ringside for the former team.
Joe Hendry attacked Moose to help his side ring. Matt Hardy hit the Twist of Fate on JDC, before Chris Bey hit the splash to pin him for the victory.
This was followed by the main event of TNA Xplosion. Tasha Steelz wrestled Gisele Shaw in a Knockouts match to close the show in what was a fantastic women’s match.
It was a short bout, but the fans were very impressed by the action in the ring. Gisele Shaw was the fan’s favorite, and she dominated the early part of the match with big chops and kicks to her opponent.
However, an errant spear but Tasha Steelz on top. It didn’t last long, as Shaw’s immense strength got the fans on their feet. Sadly, this couldn’t get her the win, as Steelz stole the win with a reverse roll-up to win the TNA Xplosion main event.
