Pedro Neto has certainly given Tottenham something to think about with a sterling display in north London.

The winger starred in Wolves 2-1 over Ange Postecoglou's side on Saturday - a result that pushes them into the top half of the table and sees Spurs drop out of the top four.

Picking up the ball deep inside his own half, Neto ran three-quarters of the length of the pitch before reaching the byline and showing composure to spin on the ball.

He then teed up Joao Gomes who slammed home from close range to put Gary O'Neil's side 2-1 up in the 63rd minute..

That assist means that Neto has now provided more assists than any other Wolves player in Premier League history with 19.

While it was a disappointing result for Spurs, it was nothing new for Wolves who are one of Tottenham's true bogey sides having done the double over them this term.

Since their return to the Premier League in 2018, Wolves have won three times away at Tottenham - a tally that can only be bettered by Chelsea and Liverpool who have won four times each.

For Neto, it was also a timely reminder of what he can do with Arsenal and Spurs linked with a summer move for the player.

Wolves won't stand in the 23-year-old's way if a Champions League club comes knocking for him this summer, talkSPORT understands.

However Wolves would command a club-record fee for the player.
