NFL star Travis Kelce has his sights set on superstardom, as he wants to be famous like The Rock.
Kelce, who recently won another Super Bowl with the Kanas City Chiefs, has already built a noteworthy background, as he has starred in a reality show, hosted “Saturday Night Live”, and appeared in commercials. According to a new report, he wants to reach new levels of stardom outside of football.
Emily Smith of TheWrap cites industry insiders who say that Kelce and his team are “considering movie roles, developing unscripted shows for the star, exploring comedy opportunities and pursuing product endorsements.
Smith notes that marketing experts say that Kelce could have a fruitful career in the entertainment world “as long as he doesn’t blow his relationship with Taylor Swift.” Additionally, Smith writes that a number of top filmmakers, such as “White Lotus” producer David Bernad, have been meeting with Kelce about a reality show he wants to produce and appear in.
Furthermore, per Smith, Kelce has said that he wants to be as famous as Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson. He previously signed with CAA. His agent for non-scripted TV is Nikki Goldfarb, while his agent for motion picture and comedy is Rachel Rush. Additionally, Kelce’s team includes agent Lorrie Bartlett, whose clients include Regina King, Michael Keaton, Rachel Zegler, and Lucy Liu.
Kelce is already financing and executive producing two movies. Time will tell what other projects the NFL star starts working on.
