WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, has addressed what he describes as a “personal” rivalry ahead of an eagerly anticipated match set to take place on the upcoming episode of Raw.

The January 22nd edition of Raw serves as the go-home show before the Royal Rumble on January 27th, and it is set to feature several significant matches and segments that have captured fans’ attention.

One of the highly anticipated showdowns is between “Señor Money in the Bank” Damian Priest and “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre. Tensions have been simmering between these two since October when McIntyre prevented Priest from cashing in his World Championship contract. A similar incident occurred on last week’s Raw (January 15).

With the match now officially confirmed, Triple H took to Twitter to build hype for the bout, emphasizing the personal nature of the rivalry:

“Hostility has been building for months… and tomorrow night, it all boils over when @DMcIntyreWWE and @ArcherOfInfamy step into the ring. This match is personal, and it’s going down tomorrow at 8/7c LIVE on #WWERaw @USANetwork.”

Damian Priest also added his own message directed at Drew McIntyre ahead of their showdown on Raw.

What are your thoughts on the intensifying feud between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre? Do you think this personal rivalry will have a significant impact on the Royal Rumble and the road to WrestleMania? Let us know in the comments.
