Triple H says Brock Lesnar is not gone from WWE, and his status is the same as it was before.

Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE since he lost to Cody Rhodes at WWE SummerSlam 2023. As previously reported, Brock Lesnar was set to return at WWE Royal Rumble, but these plans were nixed when Lesnar was implicated in the sexual assault and trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon. Lesnar was reportedly slated for a match at WrestleMania 40, but this plan was dropped as well.

During the WWE WrestleMania 40 Press Conference, Triple H was asked whether Brock Lesnar was still under contract. He was also asked whether there was a plan for Lesnar to return at WWE Royal Rumble 2024 and if there was consideration for him to return now.

“At one point, there was a conversation with Brock about Royal Rumble, but a long time ago,” Triple H said. “Right now, Brock is home, being Brock, and we’ll see where that leads to from here. His status is the same as it’s been before. Brock is not gone from WWE. He’s just home being Brock.”

As of this writing, there is no word on when Brock Lesnar will return to WWE programming. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
