TV programming for the first day of L1

The Professional Football League announced this Thursday evening the TV schedule for the first act of the French championship, starting on Friday August 16.

The LFP having recently ratified the Ligue 1 broadcasting agreement with the DAZN platform and the beIN Sports group, the veil has been lifted on the television programming as it will be next season. With the menu for the first round of the championship already established.

On Friday, August 16 at 8:45 p.m., Le Havre and PSG will have the honor of opening the ball at the Stade Océane. An inaugural match that will be followed on Saturday, August 17 at 5 p.m. by a clash between Brest and OM – the only match then broadcast by beIN Sports over the weekend. Two other matches will be played on Saturday, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., between Reims and Lille; then between Monaco and Saint-Etienne.

The first Sunday meeting will be held at 3pm, with Auxerre and Nice in the duel. Then will come the time of the multiplex at 5pm with three matches on the menu. Finally, Rennes and Lyon will end this initial day, at 8:45pm, at Roazhon Park.
