Tyler Cameron is opening up about going public with girlfriend Tate Madden! The 31-year-old Bachelor Nation star first revealed he had a new girlfriend in July and shared why he wasn’t sharing who yet. Then, earlier this month Tyler went Instagram official with Tate after nearly two years together! In a new interview, Tyler dished on keeping their relationship out of the public eye for so long. Keep reading to find out more… “I’ve been in this scene before for a long time,” he told E! News. “People like to nitpick and like to judge and all that. And I’ve dealt with it, but not everyone else has and that can be a lot. And so I just wanted to make sure we were in a great place before we started that.” Tyler also opened up about when they first met, which was back in 2022. “It started off we were just working together,” he said. “It was always platonic and cool, and she was always the life of the party and fun. Everyone gravitates towards her. She’s just a ball of fun energy, and everyone enjoys being around her.” “It just kind of started happening,” Tyler added. “And we started hanging out more and dating and, yeah, here we are.” In fact, his friend and fellow Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick tried to set them up while working on Tyler’s Prime Video series, Going Home with Tyler Cameron. “Jason tried to set us up,” Tyler recalled. “In a deleted scene from Going Home with Tyler Cameron, Tate was helping us be a photographer for the images we were using for our Airbnb that we were building. And he was like, ‘I see something here. You better go on a date. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.’ And Jason was right, I gotta admit. Jason had an eye for it.”
