Tyrus on retirement
Tyrus spoke with SLAM Wrestling after NWA 75 and explained his decision to retire.
“I’m good,” he said. “We beat the hell out of each other. Everything is in slow motion.”
Tyrus said the retirement stipulation was his idea, citing his age and desire to be around for his children more often.
“[They wanted] Daddy to be home more often,” Tyrus said, adding that he could now attend their various sports games and take them fishing. “It was all my idea.”
“The NWA is exploding,” he added. “So, EC3 will be defending all over. I feel he has been overlooked a lot. Me and him, just seemed right.”
