Uncle Howdy won his in-ring debut, which marked Bo Dallas‘ first match since 2019.
Bo Dallas returned to WWE as Uncle Howdy during Bray Wyatt’s second run with the company. However, following Wyatt’s tragic passing, he was absent until the Wyatt Sicks debuted on the June 17 episode of WWE RAW. Uncle Howdy’s stablemates went on to defeat American Made in their in-ring debut. However, Howdy himself did not compete until the August 26 episode of WWE RAW.
In the main event, Uncle Howdy faced Chad Gable. Howdy paid tribute to Wyatt throughout the bout.
During the match, Howdy also paid tribute to the late Brodie Lee. Late in the bout, the referee got knocked down. Howdy locked in the Mandible Claw, but the Creed Brothers broke it up. The rest of the Wyatt Sicks made the save. The groups brawled, leaving Gable and Howdy on their own. Howdy evaded a moonsault and hit the Sister Abigal for the win. He then pointed to the heavens in another nod to Wyatt.
