Valerie Bertinelli shared that she stopped stepping on the scale after being “considered overweight” at 150 pounds.

“2014 #tbt This is a 150lb body on a 5’4 frame,” the Food Network star captioned a throwback picture of herself in a purple bikini lying in an infinity pool on Instagram Thursday.

“I don’t weigh myself anymore because this is considered overweight by who’s [sic] standards I don’t know. It’s stupid and I believed them for far too long.”

Bertinelli, 63, said she now knows what kind of woman she is.

“I now, finally, know that I am a kind, considerate, funny, thoughtful woman. So please remember, who you are and what your character is, should never be overshadowed by what size you are or how much you weigh,” she added.

“An image of perfection, then and now,” wrote a fourth.

Bertinelli — who became a spokesperson for Jenny Craig in 2007 — previously spoke out about how her mental and emotional health improved once she stopped weighing herself.

In an essay she penned for New Beauty in 2022, she noted that she used to believe that “the number on the scale is never low enough — it’s always too high — so I’m going to just crawl under the covers and not have anyone see me until it is. I’ll be happy once all the weight is gone.”

After the Emmy winner finished her 2022 memoir, “Enough Already,” she decided to get rid of her scale for good.

“[It] was a big thing for me, and I haven’t gotten on a scale since,” she wrote in her essay.

“My clothes still fit: my jeans still zip up. I guess I was afraid that if I didn’t see what number I was and if I wasn’t able to keep an eye on it, that I would balloon up… but that hasn’t happened.”
