(Video) Antony restores Manchester United’s lead at Newport with first goal of the season

Manchester United have reclaimed their lead against Newport in this Sunday’s FA Cup encounter, having let a two-goal advantage slip.

Erik ten Hag’s men grabbed an early two-goal lead after goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo but the hosts fought their way back in the game.

Newport scored their first goal just before half-time and their second came early after the interval, with United completely losing control of the game.

Now, they’re back in the driver’s seat, however, as Antony scored from Luke Shaw’s rebound to give his side the lead again, as seen above.

Antony has endured a troubling second season at the club and his strike at Newport is actually his first goal of the season.
