Manchester United are trailing 2-1 heading into the final 20 minutes of their quarter-final clash against Liverpool.
The Reds were in dreamland after Scott McTominay notched his ninth goal of the season by breaking the deadlock after just 10 minutes at Old Trafford.
It came amidst a spirited half-hour of play from United, with the players looking well up to the challenge of overturning their in-form rivals and booking a spot in the next round of the cup.
That was until Alexis Mac Allister levelled the tie in the 44th minute, which was quickly followed by Mohamed Salah poking Liverpool into the lead with a tap-in in injury time.
Reacting to the quick turnaround on ITV, Roy Keane exclaimed: “You’re going to get punished. For United to try and play out from the back in injury time, it’s criminal!”
