One of the most successful ways is often to find someone who is related to a major star, as it gives them a firm foot in the door. It can be a big deal when you see such a star start their career and that is what we are seeing this week.

This week, Jacob Henry, the son of WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry, announced that he had signed a deal with WWE. The announcement was made during Mark’s Remix Rumble in Cleveland as part of the events of Summerslam week. There is no word on the terms of the contract, including whether it is an NIL deal or a traditional wrestling contract. Jacob, 18, has never taken part in a professional wrestling match.

Opinion: It’s way too early to know what kind of a wrestler Jacob will make, but he certainly has a special resource in his father. Second generation wrestlers have been a feature in the sport for a long time now and there is no reason why Jacob cannot be a success as well. If nothing else, he already has a foot in the door and that is more than a lot of people can say.
