Video: the Burnley goalkeeper’s incredible ball

This Saturday, Burnley played their home game against Brighton. For Vincent Kompany’s team, there was no room for error since they were in 19th place in the rankings. And with Luton’s defeat against City earlier in the day, a victory would have brought them much closer to the non-relegation leaders.

And a perfect scenario loomed as Brownhill opened the scoring in the last quarter of an hour. But now, it’s not really Burnley’s season since an incredible misfortune weighed down the team. On an innocuous back pass, goalkeeper Arijanet Muric had a complete hole and let the ball slip into his goal. Enough to give Brighton a draw. Terrible scenario since with this draw, Bunrley remains 5 points behind Luton, 18th.
