WWE was seemingly set to start selling new Vince McMahon merchandise, but it was been pulled from shops amid new allegations against the former WWE CEO.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider notes that a new shirt celebrating Vince McMahon’s win in the 1999 Royal Rumble had been at the WWE Royal Rumble pop-up store in Tampa, Florida. However, the shirt apparently disappeared on Friday. This comes one day after Janel Grant’s lawsuit against McMahon, alleging him of sexual assault and sexual trafficking, was filed.
Additionally, Johnson notes that the shirt has been removed from WWEShop.com, and no Vince McMahon shirt appears on the website.
The new shirt can be seen below:
A spokesperson for McMahon said the lawsuit was “replete with lies.” More information is available here.
