‘Wallace & Gromit’ Netflix Movie Gets Title, Unveils Voiceover Cast

As part of Netflix’s NEXT Animation splash, the first images, title and voiceover cast for Aardman’s new Wallace & Gromit movie was announced. Release date is this winter.

Titled, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, the new Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham directed movie see Gromit concerned that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions. Wallace winds up inventing a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again.

The voiceover cast includes Ben Whitehead, Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan and Lenny Henry.

Richard Beek produces off a story by Park and Mark Burton. Burton wrote the screenplay.
