WATCH: AEW Star In Attendance At Monday Night Raw

Homecoming. There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history and some of them have played a big enough role that they have become legends in their own time. While they might not stick around, it can make a big difference to have one of them around. One such name was around this week for a big show, though it was not in an official capacity due to some circumstances.

AEW’s Matt Hardy was in attendance at this week’s Monday Night Raw in Raleigh, North Carolina. Hardy’s wife Reby posted a video to TikTok showing fans posing with Hardy for pictures at the event. This comes as Matt’s contract with AEW is said to expire at the end of March. According to Fightful Select, Matt was not there to meet with WWE officials and was only visiting. A friend of Reby’s allowed them to use a skybox at the event, with the Hardys staying for about 90 minutes.

This was a nice moment. Check out Matt at the event and his time in both companies:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you do not see very often as someone from one of the big companies does not often appear in the other promotion. On top of that, Matt was doing something even better by spending that much time with the fans. It is nice to see someone do that kind of thing in wrestling as it must have been a thrill for the fans who got to meet him.
