WATCH: CM Punk Live Streams From Under The Ring During Monday Night Raw Brawl With Drew McIntyre

Under cover. There are several different ways to shoot an angle in wrestling and some of them can be rather unique. While you will see some of them take place over and over, there are a few that are only going to be done by the right person at the right time. That is what we saw again this week, as one of the bigger names in wrestling did something rather unique before taking the stage.

This week’s Monday Night Raw featured an interview with Drew McIntyre, which was ultimately interrupted by CM Punk, leading to a brawl between the two of them. Punk has uploaded a video to his Instagram, showing him hidden underneath the ring and watching McIntyre’s speech on a laptop. The phone Punk was recording himself on then falls to the floor as the two can be heard brawling. Punk then picks up the phone and says a few words to end the video. The two are set for a strap match this Saturday at Bash In Berlin.

Opinion: That isn’t something you see every day and it adds in a nice change of pace from what you usually see. No the video doesn’t add much in the way of new material, but seeing Punk set up for something like this was a clever idea. It’s just a different way of looking at things and that is often nice, even if the original version of what happened worked well.
