WATCH: Drew McIntyre Quits WWE On Monday Night Raw

For good? There are all kinds of ways to set up a match between two wrestlers and some of them can be rather unique. Some of them can take a weird path to get ready and often more time, but that can make for the better stories. We might be seeing that at the moment, with one Superstar doing something different as part of his feud with an injured wrestler.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre announced that he was quitting WE due to his obsession with CM Punk. This comes after Punk interfered in McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Title match on Saturday at Clash At The Castle where Punk cost him the title. There is no word on when McIntyre could return to WWE or when he and Punk could have their first match.

Opinion: I’m wanting to see this match more and more every time, as it feels like McIntyre wants to destroy Punk more and more every week. It would not shock me to see McIntyre show up in Chicago to deal with Punk later this week, or maybe they’ll wait a little longer before getting to the point. Hopefully the match takes place on the big stage, as it has more than earned the spot.
