IMG Credit: WWEI know him. There are all kinds of stars throughout the wrestling world and it can be a big deal when one of them from one major promotion to another. It leads to fans wondering where things are going, as well as who else might be showing up. That was the situation this week, as a wrestler who recently left one promotion showed up in another one this week.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Impressive Detail On Jordynne Grace Signing With WWE
Earlier this week, news broke that Ricky Starks had left NXT after not appearing for the promotion for the better part of a year. However, Starks appeared in the crowd this week on NXT, suggesting that he had signed with the promotion. Starks did not say his name on the show, but he did acknowledge fans chanting “RICKY STARKS”, saying it was clear that the fans knew who he was. There is no word on when Starks could wrestle for NXT.

Opinion: This was certainly the surprise and I don’t know how many people were expecting Starks to show up in NXT so soon. What matters the most is that Starks was easily recognized, which is impressive when he has not been on AEW TV in several months. For now though, we should be in for a big run from Starks, who certainly came in with quite the hot start.
