Their time in WWE is often the most important of their careers and can often lead to a long run outside of the company. A former WWE Superstar seemed to begin that time recently, as he made his return to the ring after leaving WWE.

Over the weekend, Elijah, formerly known as Elias and Ezekiel in WWE, made his return to the independent circuit, facing Mike Bailey in a losing effort at a Wrestling Revolver event. This was Elijah’s first match since May 23, 2023 as well as his first since being released from WWE. There is no word on when or where he will wrestle next, or if there is any indication that he will sign with a promotion.
