IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: BREAKING: John Cena Announces Retirement From WWE, Plans For Final Matches
This weekend, Drew McIntyre won the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match. Later in the show of the same name, McIntyre cashed in his title shot, making Damian Priest’s World Heavyweight Title defense against Seth Rollins a triple threat match. CM Punk then interfered and attacked McIntyre, allowing Priest to pin him and retain. This is the sixth time that someone has cashed in their briefcase the night they won it in the first place.
It was a rough one. Check out the ladder match, the interference and Punk vs. McIntyre:
Opinion: This Punk vs. McIntyre feud has been going for months now, which is amazing when you consider that they haven’t had an actual match yet. It would seem that we are on the way to their big showdown, which very well could come next month at Summerslam. For now, it’s another reason for McIntyre to want to slaughter Punk, which should be a heck of a moment.
What do you think of the angle? How will Punk vs. McIntyre go? Let us know in the comments below.
