We tried Kim Kardashian’s Skims bras, and here’s our honest review

Four years after launching Skims with a selection of shapewear, Kim Kardashian’s grown the brand into a billion-dollar behemoth that offers swimwear, lounge looks — and, perhaps the buzziest of all, a growing lineup of bras.

Priced from $44 to $62 and available in sizes ranging from 32A to 46F (with exact sizes varying by style), the collection currently includes 28 different style, ranging from silky mesh options to push-ups and, yes, that viral nipple bra.

“These are the most comfortable bras you will ever wear,” Kardashian said of her offerings in a 2022 ad. “I really wanted to figure out how to blend the comfort and ease of a bralette with the shape and support of an underwire bra.”

To find out if the reality superstar-turned-fashion mogul achieved her mission, we got our hands on a few of the bras to try out and review. Get the scoop in the video above, and keep scrolling to learn more about (and shop) the Skims bras we tested — or head here to peruse them all.

Skims No Show Unlined Demi Bra

Skims No Show Molded Unlined Demi Bra Skims

Pros:

Sheer style stays invisible under clothing Provides comfortable support

Cons:

Fabric feels delicate

“I ordered [this] in 32B, which is my usual size, and I think it fits really well. It’s quite sheer, so keep that in mind; I typically prefer a lightly lined style for nipple coverage purposes. Sometimes an underwire style can dig, but this lies really nicely. I feel supported and comfortable, and it’s invisible under clothing.

“My one concern is that it is made of this really silky, sheer mesh that I could totally see myself snagging with a fingernail, like a pair of pantyhose; it’s one I’d probably hand-wash and treat really delicately rather than throwing it in the washing machine.” – Elana Fishman, Page Six Style Editor

Size range: Cup sizes A to G and band sizes 30 to 44 | Color options: 13 shades

Skims Weightless Scoop Bra

Skims Weightless Scoop Bra Skims

Pros:

True to size A rare comfortable underwire design

Cons:

Some reviewers noted it was slightly more transparent than they expected

“[I got] a size 38D, which is my normal bra size. I am very impressed with Kim Kardashian; I was a little skeptical. I have to be careful about the bras I wear; I want to make sure that I’m covered, supported and boosted, and my sister Kim K, she did it.

“It’s hard to get a bra that has comfortable underwire — but no notes, Kim. You really knocked it out of the park with this one.” – Asia Grace, New York Post Lifestyle Reporter

Size range: Cup sizes A to H and band sizes 30 to 46 | Color options: 10 classic neutrals

Skims Weightless Demi Bra

Skims Weightless Demi Bra Skims

Pros:

Fits comfortably Super supportive Feels truly weightless

Cons:

Some Skims reviewers noted the brand’s size calculator was slightly off — although in our tests, this style fit true to size

“[I got] a 34D, which is my true size. I’m really happy with how it fits; I don’t feel like it’s cutting me off, and it’s not giving me an awkward armpit bulge. I’d probably wear it every day. I’m not a fan of underwire bras, but this one? A-plus.

“I’m also somebody who likes to sometimes incorporate my bra into my outfit, where I don’t mind it showing a little bit. And I feel like I can do that with this style as well.” – Taylor Valentine, Page Six Lead Video Editor/Producer

Size range: Cup sizes A to H and band sizes 30 to 46 | Color options: 10 classic neutrals

Skims Naked Plunge Longline Bralette

Skims Naked Plunge Tank Bra Skims

Pros:

Super soft and comfortable More supportive than the average bralette

Cons:

Sizing was a bit confusing

“[I’m wearing] a 2X; I’m usually a 36F and have never worn a 2X before, so the sizing is definitely different [with the Naked collection]. It’s kind of confusing to figure out the sizing online.

“I’m curious about the inclusive sizing, because if I’m someone who’s usually a large or maybe an extra-large and I’m wearing a 2X and [Kardashian] says she goes up to these much larger bands … is she really doing that?

“I will say, it’s incredibly comfortable and incredibly soft — there’s no pulling, there’s no tugging. I would love a little more lifting, and I do feel like the bottom could roll up. But it’s hard to find a bralette that offers more coverage, especially if you are bigger-chested.

“I feel like I found the perfect work-from-home bralette. It is supportive enough that you can run around in it, but so soft that you really will feel naked like Kim K!” – Margaret Abrams, former Page Six Style Writer/Reporter

Size range: XXS to 5X | Color options: 8 classic shades and 4 limited-edition ones

Skims Ultimate Teardrop Push-Up Bra

Pros:

Made with buttery soft fabric Provides a natural, lifted look One reviewer raved it felt like “wearing nothing”

Cons:

Can run slightly small (Skims advises that you go up a band size if you’re in between two, which we found to be a wise recommendation)

When Skims dropped its first padded offering, billed as a “boob job in a bra,” several Page Six staffers put it to the test — and were impressed with the results.

“I normally don’t wear a lot of push-up bras, but the ones I’ve had in the past were not working for me; they were giving spillage. But I think the cut of this one is really good; it gives me some extra coverage. I would have to say this is one of the best push-up bras I’ve tried.” – Taylor Valentine, Page Six Lead Video Editor/Producer

Size range: XXS to 5X | Color options: 7 classic shades and one limited-edition leopard print

Skims Ultimate Nipple Push-Up Bra

Skims Ultimate Nipple Bra Skims

Pros:

Breathable, soft and supportive fit

Cons:

As our reviewer noted, the perky design is “not for the faint of heart, so to speak” — and not the most work-appropriate option

Modeled after Kim Kardashian’s chest, this bra went completely viral upon launching in 2023. (Khloé even wore the perky style in an episode of “The Kardashians.”)

“When I put the bra on I was surprised by the immediate comfort; the fabric was soft and breathable while keeping my girls very supported,” former Page Six Social Media Manager Julia Remillard noted in her review of the bra — before ultimately concluding, “The nipple bra isn’t a total bust (no pun intended), but it isn’t for me.”

Size range: Cup Sizes A to F and band sizes 30 to 44 | Color options: Six neutrals

How we tested

Five Page Six staffers put a range of Skims styles to the test, evaluating each for comfort, support and style over the course of several weeks.

Skims bra sizing

Skims offers an inclusive size range — cup sizes A to H and band sizes 30 to 46 — and the fit guide on its website is a helpful starting point for funding the right fit.

While the bras we tested were true to size, for the Ultimate Bras we’d recommend sizing up you’re in between two options.
